Heard Mr. Mukte, learned Advocate for Applicant and Ms. Newton, learned APP for Respondent.

Order dated 17.04.2025 stands complied with.

Mr. Mukte enters appearance on behalf of Applicant having been appointed to espouse cause of Applicant since Application has been received through jail. Applicant has been in judicial custody. He is indicted in offences punishable under the provisions of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'IPC') and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (for short 'POCSO Act').

In that view of the matter, at request of Mr. Mukte, Applicant is permitted to amend the cause title and implead Respondent No.2 as party to the present Application through concerned Police Station. Amendment is permitted to be carried out forthwith. Amendment has

41.BA.1524.2025.doc been carried out in the presence of the Court. Re-verification stands dispensed with.

Learned Advocate for Applicant is directed to serve a copy of Application alongwith copy of this order on the concerned Investigating Officer and Respondent No.2.

The concerned Investigating Officer is directed to serve a copy of this order and copy of the Application on Respondent No.2 through a responsible lady police officer and obtain her consent as to whether she requires legal representation through legal aid. The consent of Respondent No.2 shall be apprised to the Court on the next adjourned date through the learned APP. The aforesaid exercise be carried out within a period of two weeks from today. 7.

Learned APP is directed by this Court to procure charge-sheet and hand over a copy to Mr. Mukte to enable him to apprise the Court about the details of the case on the next adjourned date. 8.

Stand over to 04th July, 2025.
