Although this is an application seeking regular bail in connection with C. R. No. 201 of 2023 dated 07.10.2023 registered with the CBD Belapur Police Station, for the
(P.A.) 17_BA_1550_2025.doc offences punishable under Sections 406, 409 and 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'IPC'), Ms. Bhanushali, learned counsel for the Applicant / Accused, states that at present the Applicant / Accused is only pressing for interim bail on account of death of his grandmother on 20th January, 2026. She submits that the last rites are to be held on 2nd February, 2026 and the Applicant / Accused is required to attend the same.

The Applicant / Accused is in custody since 30th July, 2024. In any case, at present I am only considering interim bail for a period from 28th January, 2026 to 3rd February, 2026, on account of death of his grandmother for the reason of attending last rites.

Ms. Bhanushali has tendered on record the death certificate of the the Applicant / Accused's grandmother. In view of the averments made in the Application and submissions of Ms. Bhanushali, the Applicant / Accused is directed to be released on interim bail on furnishing a Cash
(P.A.) 17_BA_1550_2025.doc Bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/- for the period from 28th January, 2026 till 3rd February, 2026 on the following terms and conditions:-
ORDER
i) The Applicant / Accused is directed to be released on interim bail on furnishing a Cash Bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/- for the period from 28th January, 2026 till 3rd February, 2026;
ii) Upon his release, the Applicant / Accused shall provide his contact details as well as that of one of his relatives and the place at which the last rites of his grandmother are to be held, as well as the address of his residence during the period of interim bail. The Applicant / Accused shall also furnish any further details as required by the Investigating Officer;
iii) The Applicant shall not tamper with evidence or attempt to influence or contact the complainant, witnesses or any person concerned with the case;
(P.A.) 17_BA_1550_2025.doc iv) The Applicant / Accused shall surrender to the jail authorities concerned, on or before 03:00 p.m. on 3rd February, 2026.

All the parties shall act on an authenticated copy of this order.
