Mr. Pethe, learned APP would submit that in compliance of order dated 29.04.2025, steps were taken to trace Respondent No. 2 - first informant but she is not residing at the given place. Thereafter several attempts were made to trace her whereabouts, however those efforts have not been fructified. Learned APP has placed on record report dated 05.05.2025 in that regard. Same is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. Perused the said report. In view thereof, I direct High Court Legal Services Committee to appoint Ms. Devyani Kulkarni, learned Advocate practicing in this Court (Contact No. 9767757637) to represent and espouse the cause of Respondent No. 2 through the Legal Aid. High Court Legal Services Committee shall give appointment letter to the appointed Advocate to that effect.

Learned appointed Advocate is directed to peruse the Application as also copy of the chargesheet which shall be served by learned Advocate for Applicant immediately with respect to the case of Respondent No. 2.

Applicant is arrested on 25.08.2021 and as on today he has been in incarceration for a period of 3 years 8 months & 12 days pending trial. Charge has not been framed and therefore trial has not commenced.

In view of the aforesaid facts, liberty is given to Advocate for Applicant to move the Vacation Court if so desired after giving appropriate notice to learned APP as also learned appointed Advocate. 6.

Stand over to 14th July, 2025.
