Heard Ms. Palanpurwala, learned Advocate for Applicant; Ms. Nayyar, learned Special PP for Respondent No.1 - UOI and Ms. Newton, learned APP for Respondent No.2 - State. 2.
Ms. Palanpurwala, learned Advocate for Applicant would submit that Applicant has been arraigned as Accused No.3 in the present crime on the basis of statement of co-accused person recorded under Section 67 of the NDPS Act. She would submit that after his arrest he was miserably assaulted and his confessional statement was also extracted from him. She would submit that role of the Applicant according to prosecution case is that he was supposed to receive the alleged contraband. She would submit that Applicant was arrested

Ms. Nayyar enters appearance on behalf of Respondent No.1 - UOI. She would place before the Court order dated 25.04.2025, inter alia, pertaining to bail application of Accused No.2 passed by this Court in Bail Application No.1670 of 2025.

Present Application is directed to be tagged and listed alongwith Bail Application No.1670 of 2025 on Board on 18th June, 2025.

Learned Prosecutor is directed to file their Affidavit-inReply, if so desired, positively within a period of 6 weeks from today with an advance copy of the same served to the opposite side. 6.
Needless to state that both the Applications shall be heard for disposal on the next adjourned date.
