Considering that the trial is underway and as many as six witnesses have already been examined, with only four to five remaining to be examined, as stated by Ms.Tidke, learned APP, representing the State, on instructions of the Investigating Officer, I am not inclined to hear the matter at this stage. In any case, this Court, by its order dated 17th December, 2024, has directed the Trial Court to dispose of the trial within a period of one year from the date on which the said order is placed before it.
