After hearing the matter for some time, when this Court was not inclined to grant bail to the Applicant, Mr. Meet Rajpopat, learned counsel for the Applicant, sought permission to withdraw the present Bail Application. Permission is granted.

Ms. Anamika Malhotra, learned APP representing the State, submits that from the time earlier bail application was 13th October 2025

34-BA-2178-2025.doc rejected, charges have been framed and victim/complainant is in the witness-box. She further submits, on instructions, that the prosecution intends to examine as many as only 11 witnesses.

In these circumstances, the Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within 6 months from the date on which this order is presented before it.
