The learned APP, on instructions, submits that the Investigating Officer has served notice to the victim, and the victim has communicated to the Investigating Officer that she will engage a private advocate to represent her.

The said communication is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification purpose.

Hence, list the application on 7 August 2025 to enable the victim to appoint a private advocate.

However, it is made clear that if no advocate is appointed by the victim by the said date, this Court shall proceed to consider the application on its own merits.
