Heard Mr. Prasanna Shahane, learned advocate for the Applicant. He submits that though, the prosecution relies on the confessional statement of the Applicant, the said statement even if considered in its entirety, is not sufficient to implicate the Application in the present crime.

Ms. Veera Shinde, learned APP appears for the Respondent-State and waives service of notice on behalf of the Respondent State and prays for two weeks time to file reply. 4.
