Charge against the Applicant is under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 as well as Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, as such the proceedings are recorded in terms of the decision in the case of Dr. Hema Suresh Ahuja & Ors. Vs. The State of Maharashtra and Ors.1 2.

Mr. Bhushan Raut, learned Advocate for the Applicant submits that by inadvertence the Complainant/ Informant remained to be arrayed as a party Respondent. He seeks leave to add the Informant/ Complainant as Respondent No.2. 3.

Ms. M. H. Mhatre, learned APP for the State submits that the presence of the Informant is necessary and as such, she has no objection for joinder for the Informant / Complainant. Leave as Criminal Appeal No.911 of 2019
