After hearing the Application for some time, Mr.Karnik, learned counsel for the Applicant, on instructions seeks permission to withdraw the present Bail Application. However, he pointed to the order dated 11th November, 2024, wherein this Court while permitting the Applicant to withdraw his Bail Application had granted liberty to the Applicant to file a fresh Bail Application after recording evidence of some witnesses.

As the trial stands today, Ms.Gotad, learned APP representing the State submits that 3 witnesses have been examined. In fact, today in the afternoon session some witnesses are likely to be examined. She also submits that although the list of witnesses indicates that the prosecution intended to examine 45 witnesses, however, on instructions she states that the prosecution is likely to examine 18 witnesses only.

In these circumstances, permission to withdraw the present Bail Application is granted.

Considering the stage of the trial, the Trial Court is requested to complete the examination of all the witnesses within a period of 6 months from the date on which a copy of this order is presented before the Trial Court. 5.
