Heard Mr. Nikam, learned Advocate for the Applicant. He submits that the Applicant is collector of the milk. He submits that though Applicant is charged with various sections in the FIR, Sections 274 and 275 of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023 (for short "BNS") would not be attracted in the present case as they pertain to adulteration of drugs. He submits that in the present case, the subject matter is milk. He submits that maximum punishment for the other sections would be 6 months if convicted. He submits that Applicant was arrested on 7th April, 2025, as such he is in jail for a period of 3 months.

Issue notice to the Respondent.

Ms. Mhatre, learned APP waives service of notice and prays for time. She states that Bail Applications filed by the other two accused in the said crime are scheduled on 21st July, 2025.
