Heard Ms. Pratiksha Keni, learned Advocate for the Applicant. She submits that involvement of the Applicant in the present crime is suspicious. She submits that though there are eye witnesses to the present crime, there is inconsistency in their statements and as such, the credibility of such eye witnesses will have to be tested at the stage of trial. She submits that the Applicant is in jail since 18th June 2022. She submits that though the Applicant is in jail for about 37 months, the trial is proceeding at a very slow pace.
