Heard Mr. Ramnik Pawar, learned Advocate for the Applicant and Mr. P. H. Gaikwad, learned APP for the State. 2.

Mr. Ramnik Pawar, learned Advocate for the Applicant, submits that initially the crime was registered under Section 363, 364 (A), 386, 344, 201, and 506 read with Section 34 of IPC. He submits that the Applicant was arrested on 19.07.2016 in the said crime and released on bail by order dated 25.10.2016. He submits that somewhere in the month of August, 2019, the prosecution on the basis of a statement of Ashvin Chavan, added Sections 302, 383, 120(B), 193, 195(a), 196 read with 34 of the IPC to the said crime. On the basis of the said statement of Ashvin Chavan, who earlier in the year 2016 has not stated anything about the murder, the Applicant was arrested in the year 2019 by canceling his bail.

Issue notice to the Respondent, returnable on 11th August, 2025.

Mr. P. H. Gaikwad, learned APP for the State waives service of notice on behalf of the Respondent and seeks time till 11.08.2025.
