Heard Mr. Shailesh Kharat, learned Advocate for the Applicant. He submits that one of the grounds on which the Applicant is seeking bail, is the long incarceration of Applicant. He submits that the Applicant is in jail for 6 years and 7 months. He submits that though the trial in the present matter has commenced, the same is proceeding at a snail's pace. Out of 36 prosecution witnesses, till date the prosecution has examined only 3 witnesses. He points out to the order dated 29th August 2024 passed in Criminal Bail Application No. 1624 of 2024 wherein two accused persons, i.e., Accused Nos. 2 and 4 in the said crime were released on bail. He submits that the involvement of Accused Nos. 2 and 4 is higher than the involvement of Applicant in the present crime. Gitalaxmi
