After arguing the matter for some time, when this Court was not inclined to grant any relief to the Applicant, Mr. Devashish Dhanjode, learned counsel appearing for the Applicant, on instructions, sought permission to withdraw the present Bail Application.

Since Ms. Ruju Thakker, learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the Union of India, on instructions, 2nd February 2026

Shivgan 25-BA-3231-2025.doc submits that two witnesses have already been examined and that the prosecution proposes to examine about ten witnesses in all. At this stage, Mr. Dhanjode, interjects and states that the last witness was examined in September 2025. 3.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel appearing for the Applicant, the learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and, in any event, conclude the same within six months from the date on which this order is communicated to it. In the event the trial is not concluded within six months and there is no substantial progress in the trial, the Applicant is granted liberty to file a fresh Bail Application.

Permission to withdraw the Bail Application is granted with the aforesaid liberty.
