The Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on 15th April 2025, the Sessions Court has rejected the Regular Bail Application filed by the Applicant and has noted that :

"8.

Herein this case facts are such that, there is strong evidence against this Applicant. There are eye witnesses to the incident. Further, charge has been framed against Applicant and prosecution is ready to proceed with this matter. Considering these facts and circumstances I do not found that, this is a fit case to released accused merely on point of long incarceration. Thus, I do not found a case to exercise discretion in December 18, 2025 Sufiyan Syed - P.A.

20.Cri.BA.3461.2025 favor of accused. Application is liable to be rejected. Thus, I pass the following order :

ORDER

Application Stands rejected".

The Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the Applicant submitted that there are approximately 40 witnesses of the prosecution. However, though charges in the matter were framed on 19th April 2022, the witnesses have not remained present and the trial is delayed. The Learned Additional Prosecutor submitted that the Appellant has also sought adjournments in the matters. Therefore, the Additional Public Prosecutor is directed to inform the Court about the status of the proceedings on the next date.
