During the course of hearing this Court found prima facie substance in the contention of counsel for the Respondent No.2 that shoddy investigation has been done by the Investigating Officer and relevant evidence though available, has not been collected. Before passing any order on these submissions it is necessary that the Investigating Officer should be heard in the matter.

Hence, the Investigating Officer to file Affidavit explaining steps taken during the investigation and also as to why steps were not taken for seizure of mobile phones of the respective person whose statements were also recorded with regard to they having received the photos and videos from the Applicant. 3.

Stand over to 18th April, 2026.
