71-BA-3656-2025.DOC Shivgan
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION BAIL APPLICATION NO. 3656 OF 2025 Ramesh Viraswami Naydu @ Anna ...Applicant
Versus
State of Maharashtra
...Respondents
Mr. Kiran Gogavale , for the Applicants.
Mr. Mayur Sonavane, APP for the Respondent-State.
CORAM:
R. M. JOSHI, J.
DATED:
13th MARCH, 2026.
PC:- 1.
Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that apart from the fact that the Applicant is in jail for a period of 2 years and 9 months and that the Co-accused, i.e., Accused No.1 against whom similar allegations are made, is enlarged on bail by this Court, it is his contention that there is evidence to show that Accused Nos.1 and 3 are having licence to deal with the drug, which was claimed to have been seized from the Applicant. It is his submission that there is further evidence to show that the Applicant was working for Accused Nos.1 and 3. It is his argument that in such case, no offence is made out against the Applicant.
2.
The learned APP seeks time to respond to the said submissions.
