The Applicant is arrested in Crime Registration No.423 of 2025 registered with Gadhinglaj Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 65(2) and 72(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 3(c), 3(d), 4, 8 and 10 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

It is the case of the prosecution that applicant has sexually assaulted two minor girls, who were staying adjacent to his house. The girls informed this ordeal to their parents and thereafter the offence is registered. The counsel for Applicant has stated that the trial Court has rejected the bail only on the ground that there is possibility of pressurizing the witnesses including the victims. Gaikwad RD 1/2

On perusal of FIR it appears that two minor girls were staying adjacent to the house of Applicant and he called them inside the house and sexually assaulted them and on disclosure of it, he has given the money and chocolate to them for permitting him to do the said act again. The girls have informed about it and the crime is registered.
