During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that there is a delay in lodging the First Information Report, as the report in respect of the alleged incident, which occurred between February and March 2024, has been lodged on 12th February 2025. It is his further submission by pointing out to the order passed in Crime No.579 of 2024 that, the mother of the Victim had lodged a complaint against the boyfriend of the Victim, and in the statement recorded in the said crime, there is no reference to the alleged incident having occurred between February and March 2024.

In view of the above submissions, the learned APP is directed to produce before this Court the investigation papers of Crime No.579 of 2024.
