By an order dated 16th June 2025, this Court had directed the Trial Court to make an endeavour to examine witness namely, Shankar G. Sacchar immediately and other key witnesses within 3 months from the date of that order. The Applicant was given liberty to move a fresh Bail Application after the evidence of key witnesses is over. 10th October 2025

Accordingly, the Applicant has made the present Bail Application.

Mr. Vinod Kashid, learned counsel appearing for the Applicant, submits that despite the said order, only one witness was examined before the Trial Court. Thereafter, no other key witness was examined. The Applicant is arrested on 30th June 2019 and has already suffered incarceration for 6 years.

In these circumstances, Registrar (Judl-1) is requested to call for report from the Trial Court concerned as to the status of the trial. Report be called within one week from the date of uploading of this order.
