On 1st October 2025, on a grievance made by Mr. Satyaram Gaud, learned counsel appearing for the Applicant, that the Applicant was not being given a proper medical treatment, learned APP was requested to call for a medical report from the Superintendent of Mumbai Central Prison (Arthur Road Jail).

Today, Ms. Megha Bajoria, learned APP representing the State in the matter, has placed on record health status report of the Applicant dated 13th October 2025 issued by the Chief 25th November 2025

912-BA-3749-2025.DOC Medical Officer of the Arthur Road Jail, Mumbai. The same is taken on record. The Report indicates that the Applicant is being given medical treatment and provided with his medications regularly in the prison; his diet is also being regulated by the Prison Authorities. Yet, Mr. Gaud states that the Applicant requires hospitalization for his treatment. 3.

The Prison Authorities of the Arthur Road Jail, Mumbai are directed to take the Applicant to Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai on 27th November 2025 and doctors of the said Hospital conducting the examination of the Applicant, are requested to give their recommendations as to whether Applicant requires hospitalization for his medical condition or otherwise.
