Mr. Tiwari, learned counsel for the Applicant, states that on 15th July, 2025, the Special Judge (NDPS) Court, City Civil & Sessions Court, Mumbai had directed the Registrar (S) of the City Civil & Sessions Court, Mumbai, to provide legal aid to the accused as per rules. However, Mr. Tiwari submits that till date no legal aid has been provided and the trial is being delayed on that count. 28th November 2025

I have requested Mr. Azmi, Member Secretary, Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority, Mumbai, to call for a report from the District Legal Services Authority concerned. He is requested to provide status report in respect of the aforesaid on or before 22nd December, 2025. 3.
