On the last date of hearing affidavit was filed by the father of the victim, recording no objection for grant of bail to the applicant for the reason that family members of the accused are ready and willing to accept victim as their daughter-in-law, when she attains age of majority. Learned counsel for the applicant sought time to take instructions from the applicant as well as family members of the applicant in this regard. 27th March, 2026

Today, father has filed written undertaking on behalf of the applicant indicating that between the families it is agree to perform marriage of the victim with the applicant once she attains age of majority.

Learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions from the applicant makes statement that the applicant would marry victim, after she completes 18 years of age.

Having regard to the aforestated fact this Court finds no justification to reject bail.

Hence, the following order:

i) The Bail application in connection with CR No. 58 of 2025 registered with Dahanu Police Station, Taluka and District Palghar for the offence punishable under Sections 64, 64(2), 62(2)(i), 64(2)(m) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita r/w Section 4, 6, 8, and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2013, applicant be enlarged on bail furnishing PR bond of Rs. 15,000/- and producing one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.

ii) Applicant to attend all dates of proceeding before the Trial Court unless exempted.
