By order dated 18th November, 2025, this Court had directed that the Applicant be sent to the Nair Hospital for the test as recommended by the doctors of the J.J. Group of Hospitals within eight days from the said order. 2.
The report was to be placed before the Court. Today, the report of the J.J. Hospital is sent to the Court directed by the authorities of the J.J. Hospital.

I have gone through the said report. As per the report the Applicant was referred by the J.J. Hospital to Nair Hospital on 15th November, 2025, there he was advised to undergo the three test as mentioned in the order. 4.
The report further notes that the patient was vitally and hemodynamically stable with no fever spike and the wound was also with healthy Granulation tissue with no discharge. 5.
Hence, the Applicant was discharged from the Hospital on 21st November, 2025 with prescription for antibiotics. Today, Mr. Shukla, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant has also placed before me a report signed by one Dr. Shailesh Mohite, Dean (Nair) dated 08th December, 2025 purported to be a report of the Nair Hospital in respect of the Applicant. The reference given in the letter is in e-mail from one Smt. Alka Chavhan dated 05th December, 2025. 6.
I have gone through the report and the said report is taken on record.

I am unable to understand as to how this report is placed before me by the Applicant when, in fact, the order directed the J.J. Hospital to place these reports before the Court. At best, the report ought to have been sent to the Jail Superintendent, of which jail, the Applicant is an inmate and produced before the Court through the learned APP. 8.
Be that as it may, in the interest and health of the Applicant, on the request made by Mr. Shukla, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant, on instructions, the Applicant shall be taken to the H.N. Reliance Hospital to conduct the three test as mentioned in the order dated 18th November, 2025. The expenditure of the test will be borne by the Applicant.

The family members of the Applicant shall take an appointment with the concerned doctors in the H.N. Reliance Hospital and convey the dates at least three days prior to the appointment to the Superintendent of Thane Central Prison.

After receiving such information, the Jail Authorities will make arrangements to take the Applicant for the said test to the concerned doctor in the said hospital. As soon as the tests are done, the Applicant shall be brought back to the jail. 11.
In the event, the test need to be conducted on more than two days, patient still be taken by the Jail Authorities and brought back in the evening.

List the matter for further consideration on 07th January, 2026.
