In order to enable prosecution to oppose the Application by giving reasonable opportunity, time is granted. It is however, clarified that in case, the Investigating Officer remains absent on the next date of hearing, the Bail Application would be heard on merits. Absence of the Investigating Officer on the next date of hearing shall lead to an initiation of appropriate action against him. 4.
