Learned APP submits that after 17 years of reference of the incident, applicant came to be arrested, and thereafter his fingerprints were obtained. He further submits that the finger-prints on the weapon of assault were also obtained at the relevant time in 2007. According to him, the prosecution is yet to receive opinion of the finger print expert. He expects the said opinion to be received within a period of four weeks.
