This motion is filed solely for the purpose of seeking an extension of interim relief granted by this Court on 9 January 2025 by a coordinate bench. Though the Court had directed the Applicant to amend the Anticipatory Bail Application in order to add Informant as party Respondent No.2. However, the said amendment was not carried out due to inadvertence. 3.
It is submitted on behalf of the Applicant that in January 2025 there was some confusion among the department and the Amol D. Nawale
501-aba-20-2025.doc Advocates regarding the appropriate bench to hear the Anticipatory Bail Applications if the interim relief was granted by a particular judge. Due to this confusion, the matter could not be taken up before the regular Judge taking up the Anticipatory Bail Applications.

The order passed on 3 February 2025, the earlier protection granted to the present Applicant was vacated, the amendment to the Anticipatory Bail Application was carried out, and the Informant has been added as party Respondent on behalf of the Applicant.

Office remarks shows that service to the Informant is not complete. Hence, the Applicant is directed to furnish a photo copy of the Anticipatory Bail Application to the APP during the course of the day to enable the APP to serve a copy of the Application to the Informant through the Investigating Officer.

Stand over to 19 March 2025.

In the meantime, no coercive steps will be taken against the Applicant.
