The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No.118/2024 registered with Solapur Taluka Police Station, Solapur, for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(c), 25 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2.

Though the offence is of drug trafficking, as on today the only incriminating evidence against the applicant is the statement of co-accused and certain phone calls made by the applicant to the co-accused.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the said co-accused are his friends and routine phone calls were made to them much prior to the incident and though the prosecution case is that they were in contact with each other till the date of incident, there is no material to that effect. 4.

List the present application on 28th January 2025. 5.

The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station from 20th January 2025 to 24th January 2025 between 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and shall cooperate with the investigation.
