This is an application for Anticipatory Bail. 2.

The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 4 of 2025 registered at D. N. Nagar, Police Station, for the offences punishable under Sections 420 & 406 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

It is the case of the prosecution that the present 1/3

applicant and other co-accused had induced the first informant to invest money in their business of gold trading and defrauded him to the tune of Rs.16,00,158/-.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the parties have amicably settled the dispute. The first informant who is present in the Court does not dispute the said fact. Even otherwise, prima-facie the dispute between the parties appears to be of civil nature.

In that view of the matter, I am inclined to release the applicant on anticipatory bail. In the result, the following order is passed :

O R D E R

a) The Application is allowed.

b) In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with Crime No. 4 of 2025 registered at D. N. Nagar, Police Station, for the offences punishable under Sections 420 & 406 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, the applicant be 2/3

released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

c) Interim application for intervention stands disposed of.
