Mr. Diwan, learned counsel appearing for the applicant seeks liberty to add the first informant as respondent no.2 in the present proceedings. He also seeks liberty to serve a copy of the present proceedings to the first informant.

Liberty as prayed, is granted. Amendment to be carried out
2/3 forthwith.

In the present proceedings, the applicant who is arrayed as accused is in family relation to the first informant, who is wife of his brother-in-law. On behalf of the applicant it is submitted that the relationship of the applicant and the first informant was a consensual sexual relationship, both being adult. He submits that there is nothing to be recovered from the applicant and the applicant will co-operate with the concerned Police Station as and when called for. 4.
Issue notice to the newly added respondent no.2, returnable on 14th February, 2025.

The Investigating Officer will serve the added respondent no.2. 6.
Stand over to 14th February, 2025. Matter to come up under the caption 'Urgent Circulation'.

In the meanwhile, the applicant is directed to attend the
3/3 concerned Police Station on 10th and 11th February, 2025 from morning 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Till the next date of the hearing, there should not be any coercive steps by the police against the applicant.
