The offence punishable under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code has been registered in the crime. Hence, I am of the view of that the informant (wife) should be added as party respondent no.2 in the present proceeding.

The applicant is directed to add the informant (wife) as party respondent no.2 in the present proceeding. Amendment to be carried out forthwith. If the amendment is not carried, the anticipatory bail application stands dismissed without reference to this Court. The learned APP to serve the amended copy of the anticipatory bail application to the newly added respondent no.2 through IO.
