The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime No.270/2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 420 and 409 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the applicant, who is the Gramsewak, has misappropriated the amount received in 15th Finance Commission for the development of village under the scheme of P.F.M.S. 3.

The learned A.P.P. has stated that the entire responsibility is with the Gramsewak and the Sarpanch. It appears from the record that Sarpanch, who is the main accused, is protected by the Hon'ble Apex Court. Similar role is attributed to this applicant. The applicant was protected by granting ad interim anticipatory bail by this Court. 4.

Considering the allegations made against this applicant and the role played by this applicant, the interim protection granted to the applicant by this Court is confirmed on the same terms and conditions.
