Mr. Kamath, the learned Advocate for the Applicant, submits that Applicant No. 2 has been arrested, and therefore, this Anticipatory Bail Application, as far as Applicant No. 2 is concerned, has now become infructuous. He further submits that Applicant No. 1 is the wife of Applicant No. 2. On instructions, he submits that according to the F.I.R., the amount involved is approximately Rs. 1,78,00,000/-. It is alleged that this amount was collected by the Applicants through heavy deposits from at least 40 people. It is further alleged that the said amount was invested by the Applicants with one Mr. Rizvi. He submits that the Amol D. Nawale

904-ABA-355-2025 (CR).doc Applicants are ready to repay the entire amount but will require some time to arrange the funds. To show the bona fide of Applicant No. 1, a sum of Rs. 30,00,000/- will be deposited in this Court within a period of two days.

Since Applicant No. 1 is a lady and has expressed her readiness to deposit Rs. 30,00,000/- in this Court, she is permitted to deposit the said amount with this Court within two days. This deposit shall be made without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties. 3.
