By this application, the applicant is apprehending her arrest in Crime No.392/2025 registered with Police Station Tirora, District Gondia for the offences punishable under Sections 409, 420, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

It is the submission of the applicant that she is a 32 years old lady and having two children. She has been charged with an allegation of misappropriation of the amount while working as a Postmaster at Post Office Thanegaon. 6.

It is stated that the applicant has deposited the alleged misappropriated amount i.e. Rs.2,00,000/- between 01.01.2024 and 09.09.2024. Further, the departmental enquiry is started against the applicant and she is put under suspension

-2- 5.ABA.378.2025.odt since 08.05.2025. As such, she has no access to the official record. So also, entire record is already seized in departmental enquiry proceeding and nothing is to be recovered from the applicant.

In view of above, the applicant has made out a prima facie case for grant of ad-interim bail. Accordingly, I proceed to pass following order:

(i) By way of ad-interim bail, it is directed that in the event of arrest of applicant - Jayshree Bhushan Ukey (Jayshree Omprakash Tekam) in Crime No.392/2025, registered with Police Station Tirora, District Gondia for the offences punishable under Sections 409, 420, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, she be released on bail on furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand) with one surety in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall cooperate to the investigating agency till filing of chargesheet. She should made herself available in investigation as and when she is called by the Investigating Officer.

(iii) The applicant shall provide her residential address and mobile number to the Investigating Officer and shall not change or leave her place of residence without prior intimation to the concerned Investigating Officer.

(iv) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case and also not to tamper with the prosecution evidence.
