This matter pertains to the Cryptocurrency. As per the First Information Report, the amount involved in the fraud is approximately Rs. 79,81,159/- there are eight accused persons arraigned. The applicant is accused no.5. The victims are the retired army-men.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that accused nos.1 and 2 are behind bars. Accused no.1 Narendra Balu Pawar is

Diksha Rane 904. ABA 476-25.doc the kingpin of the entire crime. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is working in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation in Fire Extinguishing Department. The applicant is brother-in-law of the accused no.1 - Narendra Balu Pawar. 3.

It seems that the I.O. has not up-till-now completed the investigation. The properties of accused no.1 - Narendra Balu Pawar and his relatives are not been traced. In such situation, the Senior Police Inspector of the concerned police station shall remain present in this Court on the next date of the hearing to apprise the Court about the progress of the case and the reasons for the delay. 4.

The learned APP submitted that the statements of seventeen victims have been recorded by the IO.

The applicant is also directed to attend the IO on 10/3/2025, 11/3/2025, 12/3/2025 and 13/3/2025. The IO to record the statement of the applicant for proper investigation. So also, the applicant is directed to file an affidavit disclosing all his assets and the assets of his family members from the year 2022 till date which would also include the Income Tax returns.

In the meantime, till the next date of the hearing, no coercive steps be taken against the applicant.
