It is submitted on behalf of the applicant that the victim is the cousin sister of the present applicant. As per the First Information Report, it has been stated that the present applicant has outraged the modesty of the victim, a minor girl. Moreover, the applicant also assaulted the mother of the victim. The charge-sheet has been filed against the arrested accused. There was a family dispute between the family of the present applicant and that of the complainant both the families being the first cousin.

He further submits that the FIR was lodged in the year 2019. As of today, the police has not taken the action of arresting the

Diksha Rane 48 ABA 564-2025.doc applicant in the present proceeding. The applicant is pursuing his further studies. The custody of the present applicant is not at all necessary.

Issue notice to the respondent no.2, returnable on 16/6/2025. The learned APP to serve the copy of the present anticipatory bail application to the second respondent through IO. 4.

Stand over to 23/6/2025.

In the meanwhile, till the next date of hearing, no coercive action be taken against the applicant.
