The anticipatory bail application of the applicants were rejected by the Court of Sessions. The informant had appeared before the Sessions Court and was heard.

In the present proceedings the informant is not added as party respondent. Hence, considering the law laid down by the Supreme in Jagjeet Singh & Ors. vs. Ashish Mishra @ Monu & Anr., in Criminal Appeal No.632 of 2002, the applicants are permitted to join the informant as party respondent no.2. Amendment to be carried out forthwith. If the amendment is not carried, the anticipatory bail application stands dismissed without reference to this Court. The
Diksha Rane 930 ABA 625-2025.doc learned APP to serve the amended copy of the anticipatory bail application to newly added respondent no.2 through IO. 3.
Issue notice to the newly added respondent no.2, returnable on 3/4/2025. Apart from the Court notice, advocate for the applicants is permitted to serve the newly added respondent no.2 by advocate's private notice by all permissible modes of service and file affidavit of service to that effect before the next date of the hearing. 4.
Stand over to 3/4/2025 under the caption "for urgent circulation".
