CORAM
: RAJESH S. PATIL, J.
DATED : 19 MARCH 2025 P.C.:
1.
The present Anticipatory Bail Application has been filed pursuant to a notice issued by the Directorate of Enforcement dated 24 February 2025. A copy of the same is attached at page 28. 2.
Preliminary objections have been raised by the learned Public Prosecutor. He submits that the present anticipatory bail application is not maintainable, in view of the fact that the document at page 28 is a summons issued under Section 50 of the PMLA Act, which merely calls upon the applicant to attend the office of the Directorate of Enforcement, Lucknow.

Mr. Kachare, the learned advocate for the applicant submits that yesterday the applicant through his lawyer contacted the office of the Directorate of Enforcement in Lucknow and requested them to assign a fresh date so that the applicant could attend their office. He has requested that since the holy month of Ramzan is ongoing and the applicant is a senior citizen who is fasting, any date after Ramzan, would be suitable, provided the applicant is informed in advance. 4.
I expect the Directorate of Enforcement in Lucknow will look into the request of applicant and act reasonably. In view of the above, the anticipatory bail application is disposed of as infructuous. (RAJESH S. PATIL, J.) Amol D. Nawale
