The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime No.597/2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 137(2), 351(3), 74, 75(1)(i) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children From the Sexual Offences Act. 2.

This Court has protected the applicant by granting ad interim protection on 18.9.2025.

The allegations are made against this applicant that he had inappropriately touched victim. It appears from the whats-app chat that there was love relation between both the applicant and the victim. Considering the age of both of them, interim protection was granted.

Learned A.P.P. has stated that the applicant is attending police station and has handed over the mobile.

As the custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary, interim protection granted is confirmed on the same terms and conditions.
