Heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicant and the learned A.P.P. for the non-applicant/ State. Perused the case diary.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 288/2025 registered with Police Station, Patur, Dist. Akola for the offences punishable under Sections 109(1), 118(2), 118(1), 352 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The FIR shows that there was a free fight between two groups i.e. the applicant and others on one side and the complainant and others on the other wherein, the applicant and the complainant got injured. FIR and counter FIR have been lodged. The case diary shows that both the complainant and the applicant have sustained injuries.

Learned APP on instructions from the Investigating Officer submits that the investigation is almost complete.
2 47 aba829.25.odt The knife used in the crime as well as the clothes of the applicant have already been seized.

During the pendency of this application, the applicant was protected by ad-interim order dated 17.11.2025 with a direction to attend the concerned police station. Accordingly, the applicant attended the concerned police station and cooperated in the investigation.

In view of the above and considering the submission of the learned APP that the investigation is almost complete, coupled with the fact that nothing more is required to be seized from the applicant, a case is made out for confirmation of the ad-interim protection granted to the applicant.

Accordingly, the criminal application is allowed. 8.
The order dated 17.11.2025 granting ad-interim protection to the applicant is hereby confirmed on the same terms and conditions, except condition No. (iv). 9.
The applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when called by the Investigating Officer. 10.
The application stands disposed of.
