On 3 April 2025, the following order was passed in the present anticipatory bail application.
"1. The learned counsel for the applicant seeks liberty to add the complainant as party respondent no.2.
2. Liberty as prayed for, granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith. If the amendment is not carried, the anticipatory bail application stands dismissed without reference to this Court.
3. Issue notice to the newly added respondent no.2, returnable on 21/4/2025. The learned APP to serve the amended copy of the anticipatory bail application to the informant through IO.
4. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that without admitting the guilt, the applicant desires to deposit a sum of Rs.21 lakhs in this Court. As according to him, the amount mentioned in the crime is Rs.30 lakhs out of which a sum of Rs.6.50 lakhs has already been paid in bank account and Rs.2.50 lakhs in cash to the deceased in his account. He submits that out of Rs.21 lakhs a sum of Rs.11 lakhs will be deposited by 15/4/2025 and balance amount will be deposited on or before 30/4/2025.

6. In the meanwhile, till next date of the hearing, no coercive steps be taken against the present applicant.
7. It is made clear that in case, the amount as promised by the applicant is not deposited, this anticipatory bail application will be rejected."

Thereafter, when the matter appeared on 21 April 2025, on behalf of the applicant, it was submitted that the applicant though made a statement that the amount of Rs.21 lakhs will be deposited in this Court out of which a sum of Rs.11 lakhs was to be deposited by 15 April 2025 and the balance amount will be deposited by 30 April 2025 without prejudice the rights and contentions, the applicant wants to withdraw his statement as he unable to pay the amount. 3.
The interim relief was granted to the applicant that no coercive steps to be taken against the applicant by order dated 3 April 2025.

The learned APP submits that this is a second anticipatory bail application filed by the applicant and the applicant though voluntarily made a statement on 3 April 2025, however, on 21 April 2025, withdrew the same.

None present for the applicant when the matter is called out.
