The learned counsel Mr. Chatterjee appearing for the applicant in the present anticipatory bail application submits that the notary who had verified the documents being an anticipatory bail application dated 20/3/2025 was under impression that the document was brought to him by the applicant along with his lawyer, hence, he has verified the document and put his rubber stamp on the same. He submits that signature of the applicant was also on the document which is at pages 10 and 11 of the anticipatory bail application. The said notary had no intent to sign on the document

Diksha Rane 940 ABA 911-2025.doc where the applicant was not present in the notary office. He submits that the said notary in any case is tendering his unconditional apology to this Court if at all by verifying the document - anticipatory bail application he has committed some mistake not verifying the applicant's presence.

The notice was issued to the notary who has tendered an apology through Mr. Chatterjee, and Mr. Chatterjee explained the reasons about the verification done at page 10 in the anticipatory bail application. The reason given by Mr. Chatterjee is accepted by this Court.

In the order dated 3/4/2025, the learned counsel for the applicant had sought liberty to withdraw the anticipatory bail application.

In view of the same, the anticipatory bail application is disposed of as withdrawn.
