The applicant has apprehension of arrest in Crime No.973/2024 registered with Police Station, Gittikhadan, District Nagpur for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 336(3), 338, 339, 340(1), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The allegations made against this applicant are that the complaint was lodged on receiving the information about stolen vehicle. When the complainant went on the spot, he found one truck parked in N.I.T. Parking Plaza area and the crime is registered against the other coaccused. 6.

The learned Counsel for the applicant has stated that the name of this applicant is not mentioned in the First Information Report. The co-accused has mentioned the name of this applicant during the investigation and the allegations are made that he has

2 2.aba.929.25 forged the chassis number of the said vehicle. The role attributed to this applicant is about forging the chassis number.

Considering the allegations made against this applicant and as during interrogation, the co-accused has disclosed the name of this applicant and he is already released on bail, the applicant is protected by granting ad interim anticipatory bail. Accordingly, I pass the following order :

i] It is directed that in the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with Crime No.973/2024 registered with Police Station, Gittikhadan, District Nagpur for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 336(3), 338, 339, 340(1), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, he shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rupees Twenty Five Thousand with one solvent surety in the like amount.

ii] The applicant shall not in any way tamper with the prosecution evidence.

iii] The applicant shall not pressurize or threaten the prosecution witnesses.

iv] The applicant shall attend the concerned police station on every Monday and Saturday between 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The protection shall remain in force till next date.
