The applicant has apprehension of arrest in connection with Crime No.494 of 2025 registered with Police Station Washim district Malegaon for the offence punishable under Sections 85 and 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

It is the case of the prosecution that the daughter of the first informant has committed suicide by consuming poison. She was ill-treated by her husband and other family

2 / 3 4-aba 943-25 members. The applicant is the mother-in-law of the deceased.

6. The learned counsel for the applicant has stated that there is delay of one and half month in lodging the FIR. After the death of the deceased the FIR is lodged making allegations about demand of money and ill treatment. Presumption is not there as it was not within seven years of marriage. The deceased was having two children. The mother-in-law has filed this application.

Considering the allegations against this applicant and as the specific allegations are made against the husband of the deceased, the case is made out to grant ad-interim anticipatory bail to this applicant. Hence, the following order:

i] It is directed that in the event of arrest of the applicant- Kasabai Deorao Andhale in connection with Crime Crime No.494 of 2025 registered with Police Station Washim district Malegaon for the offence punishable under Sections 85 and 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, she be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rupees Twenty Five Thousand with one surety in the like amount.

ii] The applicant shall not in any way tamper with the prosecution evidence.

iii] The applicant shall not pressurize or threaten the prosecution witnesses.

3 / 3 4-aba 943-25 iv] The applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when called by the Investigating Officer. v] The applicant shall co-operate the investigating officer.
