3] Learned APP waives service of notice for nonapplicant/State. 4] Applicant has apprehension of arrest in connection with Crime No.516/2025 registered at Police Station, Armori, Tahsil: Armori District: Gadchiroli for the offence punishable under Sections 65(e), 83, 98 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act,1949.

5] It is alleged that during the night between 29.11.2025 and 30.11.2025, the police staff was patrolling due to ensuing Municipal Council Elections. They signaled a

2 / 3 5-aba 957-25 four wheeler Suzuki Baleno Car to stop, however, the vehicle did not stop and after some distance the vehicle was found abandoned. The occupant of the Car had taken away the key and disappeared in the dark in jungle area. During inspection of the vehicle, police team found more than 1400 bottles of liquor, Beer and 40 liters of country liquor in a plastic bag. The vehicle and entire stock was seized. 6] The learned counsel for the applicant has stated that the applicant was not on the spot. Only allegation against this applicant is that the vehicle belongs to him. Earlier four offences are registered against him. Out of them three are of prohibition. As the applicant was not on the spot and his vehicle was used, the case is made out to protect the applicant by granting ad-interim protection. Accordingly, I pass following order:

i] By way of ad-interim protection, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the applicantSunil Ramchandra Jibhkate in connection with Crime No.516/2025 registered at Police Station, Armori, Tahsil: Armori District: Gadchiroli for the offence punishable under Sections 65(e), 83, 98 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act,1949, he be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rupees Twenty Thousand with one solvent surety in the like amount.

3 / 3 5-aba 957-25 ii] The applicant shall not in any way tamper with the prosecution evidence.

iii] The applicant shall not pressurize or threaten the prosecution witnesses.

iv] The applicant shall attend the concerned police station daily between 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. v] The applicant shall co-operate the investigation officer.

7] The protection shall remain in force till next date.
