DATED :- 12.03.2026 The applicant is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 116/2025 registered with Police Station Mulchera, Gadchiroli for the offences punishable under Sections 75(2) and 78(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Heard the learned counsel for the applicant as well as the learned APP for the State. I have gone through the case-diary.

It appears that the applicant is a Doctor, whereas the victim is a Nurse working under him. The allegation against the applicant is that he sought sexual favours from the victim through Whatsapp messages in exchange of releasing her stopped increment.

There is no physical contact between the applicant and the victim. The alleged offence is punishable with upto three years. The applicant was protected by ad-interim order of this Court with a direction to appear before the concerned Police Station. Accordingly, the applicant appeared before the concerned Police Station and co-operated in the investigation. It is also reported that the mobile phone of the applicant has already been seized and the charge-sheet has also been filed. Hence, it appears that nothing is required to be seized from the applicant.

Considering these aspects as well as the punishment prescribed for the alleged offence, a case is made out for confirming the ad-interim protection granted to the applicant by this Court vide order dated 24.12.2025. Hence, the following order:- i) The application is allowed.

ii) The order dated 24.12.2025 granting adinterim protection to the application is hereby confirmed on the same terms and conditions.

iii) The applicant shall appear before the concerned Police Station as and when directed by the Investigating Officer.

The fees of the learned counsel appointed to represent the complainant shall be quantified as per Rules.
