Heard Mr. S. D. Songade, learned counsel appearing for the applicants and Mr. C.A. Lokhande, learned APP appearing for the non-applicant/State. Perused the case diary.

The applicants in all these applications are apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 248/2025 registered with Police Station, Sonala, Dist.

2 70 aba55.26+3.odt Buldhana for the offences punishable under Sections 109, 118(1), 125, 125(a), 125(b), 189(2), 189(3), 189(4), 190, 191(2), 191(3), 298 and 300 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The FIR reveals that on 04.10.2025, when a procession for immersion of Durga idol was proceeding. When the procession reached near Government Hospital, Bawanbir at about 8.30 pm, the applicant and other coaccused started pelting stones towards the procession as a result of which, five persons got injured. Therefore, on the complaint of one Bhaskar Ilame, the aforesaid offence came to be registered.

In the said crime, total 35 persons have been arrested and some of them have been released on bail. The allegation against them is that in order to disrupt public peace, they started pelting stones.

The applicants in all these applications were protected by interim orders with a direction to appear before the Investigating Officer as when directed. It appears that the Investigating Officer has not called anybody to appear before him. Nothing is required to be recovered from the applicants. No doubt, by pelting stones, the applicants tried to disrupt public peace, however, since nothing is to be recovered from the applicants; in my view, the applicants can be protected by

The ad-interim protection granted to the applicants in all these applications is hereby confirmed on the same terms and conditions.

The applicants are directed to attend the concerned police station on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday till filing of the charge-sheet and cooperate in the investigation.

The applications stand disposed of.
