Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

In the present crime, an offence has been registered under section 9, 39(1), (a),(b),(d), 39(2), 39(3) of Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 read with sections 50 and 51 of the Indian Wild Life (Protection) Act, 2022.

It is the case of the applicant that he is a teacher by profession and serving as Professor at Dudhsagar Vidyaniketan Junior College, Bidri, Tal. Kagal. As far as the present applicant is concerned, there are no antecedents. The name of the present applicant is not found in the First Information Report. It is only on a statement of the co-accused, the present applicant is shown as an accused in whose house it is alleged that body parts of wild bore found. 909-aba-1010-2025.doc forest officials had been to the house of the applicant/accused, the statement of the son of the applicant was recorded, who admitted that the flesh of the wild bore was brought by the present applicant. When the forest officials visited the house of the present applicant, it is alleged that, he threw away the remaining cooked flesh outside the house with the utensils. It is the case of the applicant that as the applicant was an active participant in the Morcha which was organized by locals against the Forest Department due to the fields of the farmers being destroyed by wild Buffalo and wild Pig and other wild animals, as a matter of revenge, the forest officials added the name of the present applicant who was nothing to day with the crime.

The learned APP submitted that the copy of the application has been served on the PP's office today morning. Therefore, he requires some time to take instructions from the Investigating Officer. 5.
