The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the present crime. He contends that the applicant is neither the goldsmith nor certified jewellery designer and has no knowledge to inscribe or incorporate a Hallmark on gold ornaments. Therefore, the allegations attributing to the applicant are wholly baseless and devoid of merits.

The learned APP seeks time to take instructions and assures the Court that the applicant will not be arrested in the present crime till the next date.
